Hello Bluewater. I just want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. It was 2 year since i heard from you. My kids are still talking about our visit at your tournament 2001.
It was a great time. Now i have one more kid. He is 1 year old next week. Somebody told me that maybe your club is visiting Sweden next year. If you do so, please contakt me.

Hej!

Mera drag - varje dag!

Vänliga hälsningar
Conny Forsell

Hi there.  I saw your teams at the Fergus Scottish Festival this past weekend.  You are all amazing.  I love how you dig your feet into the ground before pulling.  It would be an interesting thing to learn to do, only I don't know if I could do so many pulls.  Does everyone on the team work at different jobs, or one place like the Peel police team?  Can't wait to see you guys next year if you enter in Fergus again.

Happy tugging.

Linda

Hi. I just wanted to let you know how awesome you guys pulled today in Fergus. I don't know how you guys can do it with this weather. The heat and sun was something else. I really wanted you to beat Peel, but you both were strong teams. Anyhow, all the best and good luck in future pulls. :)

Hi,
I'm a member of a Tug of War team in Vancouver,BC area. I was surfing the net when i found this site. There are only a handful of teams in BC. We pull with Rugby Cleats, 8 pullers,1600 pounds.

Questions...
1.Can you please tell me that wearing of the boots is the offical footwear?
2.I noticed that there is a Team Canada. Is this team selected from the matches held back East?
3. How does one participate in these matches?

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers,
Bill

As we would be interested in the future, to come out and pull.

Fellow Tuggers

As you may or may not know I landed that job on the hydro. They have placed me in Walkerton for the first of a four year apprenticeship. I really want to stay involved and I will get to as many practices as possibile.  Friday pracitces will probably be easiest for me to attend because I plan to come home most weekends.  Hope to see you all soon-

Frances          Thursday, January 9, 2003 at 21:38:37

Hi there. Loved looking at your website. We have a Powerpulling/Tug 0f War team here in New Zealand. We have about 12 major competitions here a year. The sport seems to be getting more Popular here which is good. We don't do the standing up Tug of War we do it on Boards. If you want information or want to know about it email us and we will be glad to share with you. Good Luck with your Sport and we look forward to reading your pages again.
